What's in a tin?

  1. Farrow & Ball start by mixing chalk, china clay and titanium dioxide with water to create our base paint.
  2. Next, they add rich pigments to achieve their signature depth of colour, carefully adding each in exactly the right amount for a complex and absorbing colour.
  3. Every batch of their water based paint is then rigorously tested for colour consistency and durability before it even reaches the tin.

High-performance paint

Farrow & Ball paints are available in a complete range of 11 finishes, from our signature matte Estate Emulsion to our high shine Full Gloss.

They’re thoughtfully created for each surface of the home and garden to help you combine colour and sheen, while always being confident of a long-lasting finish. Plus, they’re safe for you and your family to use in every room of the home.

Farrow & Ball went green

In January 2010, they made the bold decision to move their entire range of oil based paints to eco-friendly water based finishes with low VOC (volatile organic compounds). From recyclable paint tins to our responsibly sourced wallpapers, making sure that their paint and paper is as kind as possible to the environment and the people who use them is at the heart of everything they do.

This was a forward thinking move, affirming their ongoing commitment towards helping the environment we live in, and once again putting them ahead of the competition.

PLEASE NOTE - Colours may vary depending on the settings of your monitor.  We recommend that you verify your colour using a Farrow & Ball Colour Card before purchasing.
